Group Swim Classes at Hinsdale Swim School
At Hinsdale Swim School, our group swim classes are thoughtfully designed to support every swimmer’s journey—from their very first splash to confident, independent swimming and beyond. Guided by our mission to foster confidence, joy, and safety in the water, each level follows a proven progression that builds skills step-by-step in a way that feels natural, encouraging, and fun.
Our experienced instructors create a welcoming and supportive environment where swimmers feel safe to try, learn, and grow. Whether your child is learning to float, refining their strokes, or preparing for competitive swimming, our small class sizes and structured curriculum ensure personalized attention and opportunity for progress.
We believe that every swimmer deserves high-quality instruction and a positive experience in the water.
Group classes may be combined based on enrollment.
Classes that don’t meet minimum enrollment may be cancelled.
A $20 per swimmer annual fee will be charged for swimmers enrolled in classes, clinics or lessons.

Hinsdale Swim School – Swim Lesson Supervision Policy
To ensure the safety and comfort of all swimmers, instructors, and families, Hinsdale Swim School requires that a parent, guardian, or designated adult caregiver remain onsite for the duration of each swim lesson.
Arrival & Check-In
- An adult caregiver must accompany the swimmer to the pool deck at the start of the lesson.
- Upon arrival, swimmers should be escorted to their instructor on the deck.
- Once the swimmer has been safely handed off to the instructor, the adult should proceed to the designated viewing area.
During the Lesson
- The adult caregiver is expected to remain onsite and accessible for the entire duration of the lesson.
- For safety and to avoid distractions, caregivers are not permitted to remain on the pool deck during lessons unless specifically asked by a staff member.
- Siblings or other children not enrolled in lessons must be supervised at all times and are not permitted on the pool deck.
Conclusion of Lesson
- Caregivers should return to the pool deck promptly at the end of the lesson to pick up their swimmer.
- Please follow all facility signage and staff directions when entering and exiting the pool area.
